I’m Jools, welcome to my site. I live in County Down, Northern Ireland with my husband and our two kids, two dogs and variable numbers of chickens!

At the beginning of 2020 I resolved that I would buy no more new clothes. I love to sew and crochet so I’m trying to replace badly fitting ready to wear clothes with things I have made or refashioned myself. I’m going to use this space to document my journey towards a totally me made wardrobe. I’m sure it will take a wee while to get myself sorted as I’m also trying to declutter and generally downsize the amount of stuff I have.

There will be blether here about mental health stuff and fibromyalgia. Very occasionally you might hear a bit about my family and whatever else is going on.
